The Ag Committee of the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce meets on the third Wednesday in April, June, August, & October at 12:00 PM at various locations. The purpose of the committee is for Chamber members to come together on a regular basis to discuss ag issues, share insight, and promote the ag industry. Community Enhancement meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of March, May, September and November. These meetings are designed to educate attendees about the various community projects, activities and attractions available in Siouxland. As an attendee, you will have the opportunity to learn about how Chamber members are helping to grow and improve Siouxland for attraction and retention of residents.
Our meetings are a great way to connect with fellow Chamber members and stay informed about the latest developments in Siouxland.
Are you looking to expand your network? Let us help you! Our Connect 101 groups help members increase their business by developing relationships with other members. These small networking groups provide the opportunity for Chamber members to connect with other members for the purpose of networking and giving and receiving referrals.

Discovering Worksite Wellness group meetings are dedicated to promoting the benefits of a healthy workforce and providing valuable resources to help you develop or adopt practices and policies that keep yourself, your workforce, and your workplace healthy. Mark your calendars for the 3rd Tuesday in January, April, July and October at 12:00 PM, as we gather to discuss and share insights on creating a thriving and productive work environment. Whether you are a small business or a large corporation, this is an opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals who are passionate about employee well-being. Entrepreneur Hour is focused on sharing the inspiring start-up stories of our Chamber members. Led by Heidi Reinking, Director of Investor Relations, Entrepreneur Hour features interviews with local business owners on the last Thursday of each month.
As a Chamber member, you are invited to attend Entrepreneur Hour in person, where you can network with fellow entrepreneurs and gain valuable insights from the interviews. Alternatively, if you are unable to attend in person, you can catch the interviews on our Facebook page at your convenience.
The Government Relations Committee's mission is to lobby aggressively for pro-business issues, including legislation to break down artificial barriers between communities created by state lines. The Government Relations Committee, along with the Siouxland Chamber Board of Directors, develops a legislative agenda and designates certain positions as chamber "priorities". Meetings are held every other week from September to May.
The Small Business Education Series is held on a monthly basis at the Siouxland Chamber office on the last Wednesday of the month. The education series is a peer-to-peer information exchange for small business owners and managers. For more information on this program contact Angela Rogers, Manager of Membership Retention.
The Transportation Committee meets on the second Thursday of February, May, August, & November (quarterly) at 12:00 PM. The committee's purpose is to enhance connections within Siouxland, including lobbying for transportation corridors necessary for national and global economic development. WMN (Women Mentoring & Networking) is a monthly meeting aimed to provide women with invaluable mentoring and networking opportunities, empowering them to shape the direction of their lives both professionally and personally. Meetings take place on the 3rd Wednesday of February, May, September, & November, at 12:00 PM. By participating in WMN, you will have the chance to learn from experienced mentors, gain valuable insights, and build a strong network of professional women who can support you on your journey. Whether you are just starting in your career, looking to make a career transition, or seeking personal growth, this is a great platform to connect, learn, and grow.
